Free Things to Do in Tuvalu
The best experiences that won't cost a thing
In Tuvalu, 'free' means the lagoon, the seawall, the airport runway after dark. No gates, tickets, security checks. Wave to whoever's fishing; you're in. Culture runs on communal labour (falekaupule meetings) and shared food. Sit quietly at a maneapa hall while a village preps a feast. Someone hands you a coconut, puts you to work scraping taro. Payment is the stories you hear.
